From a car park to a world-renowned daytime venue, we’re so proud of what O Beach Ibiza has come. With our Grand Opening in Dubai pending, we’re looking fondly back on the last seven seasons and thought we’d see what some of the originals, who have been here since the very start, had to say.

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
Because these guys are my family, and family is for life.
How has O Beach Ibiza changed over time?
In the beginning we only worked one day a week (there was not a party everyday), and now we work at least six!
What has been your favourite character to play, to date?
Freddie Mercury for sure, every Friday this summer at Wanderlust Pool Party! I’m a big fan of Freddie!

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
I’ve stayed here so long because these guys are my family!
How has the venue changed over time?
We’ve changed a lot over the years – it’s become a very streamlined operation.
What has been your favourite moment to date?
Some of my life’s best memories have been here! Maybe in 2014 when we had the most incredible staff party in a villa – I felt like I was winning at life!

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
O Beach Ibiza is the first (beach) club that took entertainment to a whole new level. Believing in it and giving us a chance to create things we only dreamed of. O Beach ibiza has an amazing team of people and they have become more than just work, but my family.
How has the venue changed over time?
We become better at what we do every year by looking at the photos and taking on board guests’ reactions. Just when you think the production is the best it can be, we do one better every summer!
What has been your favourite moment to date?
Best memory uff… So many. But I have to say I absolutely love those moments when all the hard work we put in over winter comes to life in the shows.

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
Firstly, I love Ibiza. Music is one of my passions and the music at O Beach Ibiza has been amazing over the past seven years – this makes work so much easier! I was very lucky because O Beach Ibiza was my first employer here. The team I work with have become some of my best friends and I would like to take this chance to thank the owners for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an A class team. Let’s be fair: who wouldn’t want to work here?
How has the venue changed over time?
The club has progressed hugely over the years. Our owners are so ambitious and creative. Every winter they put more and more back into the club – who knows what could be next?
What has been your favourite moment to date?
My best memory has to be the 2014 Staff Party! All staff were invited to a secret villa location. I can’t tell you everything that happened but it was insane! A cherished memory forever – thanks O Beach Ibiza!

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
I’ve stayed with this company all these years because everyone has treated me so amazingly.
How has the venue changed over time?
I don’t know how to describe it – it’s a feeling – but every year this place gets better and better.
What has been your favourite moment to date?
My birthday in 2018 – everyone made it so special! There were letter boards spelling out my name, confetti cannons, cake, photos, laughing… It was unforgettable.

Why have you stayed at O Beach Ibiza all these years?
Because I love the place and it’s been a pleasure to work for such a wonderful venue. I also love the people who work here – so many from around the world. Plus Ibiza is a very interesting island and Duane (one of the owners) is a great boss.
How has the venue changed over time?
It has changed a lot physically! For the better I think.. But in my eyes, it’s the same great place – it’s just bigger and busier.
What has been your favourite moment to date?
The spectacular 20 minute firework display just over the venue, every year for St Bartolomé
