Colours to add to your wardrobe

Back to Blog

We’re in that crazy phase between seasons where one day we’re rocking bikinis and the next we’re three layers deep! The weather can be unpredictable but one thing we can get in control of is our wardrobe, and as the days get shorter and the nights get longer we’re transitioning into warmer colours to match our mood.

“The colour palette for autumn/winter 2020 highlights our desire for versatile, timeless colours—reflecting a less-is-more mindset,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. You heard it here first! So let’s see how we can rock the colours of the season in I SAW IT FIRST.

Honey

When choosing more neutral or minimalist tones on your next haul, these chic shades of brown need to be a staple for the months heading into winter. If you style the colours right, you’ll be completely sold. It can be hard to shake off a love for monochrome but with nude tones taking over the catwalks and celebrity feeds, you’ll soon grow to love these warmer shades.

Powder Puff

And the best part is, this looks GREAT with a tan! Designers from Isabel Marant to Dior brought us dreamy (and creamy!) head-to-toe ensembles in warm off-white shades at the A/W20 fashion shows and we can’t get enough!

Black Is the New Black

The A/W runways declared that black is anything but boring in 2020, and we’re here for it! It’s been our go to for a flattering swimwear look all summer and we’re welcoming it into our wardrobe for the rest of 2020.

Tropical Florals

We’re dragging this summery print out for as long as possible! This bright pattern has made a massive impression on everyone. It’s full of trees, leaves, flowers, beaches, islands, gardens, colors and abstract details, aka everything we love!
